Iulia-Andreea Smeu *KITE is a multidisciplinary artist working across sound, composition, improvisation and performance. Trained as a classical violinist, her practice has evolved towards electroacoustic sound, spoken word and visual elements, creating embodied experiences that move between the intimate and the collective. Her work explores identity, self-fragmentation and alienation through a poetic lens, drawing from psychology, phenomenology and science fiction. At the heart of her practice is listening — approaching sound as a space for reflection, relation and new ways of experiencing ourselves and one another.
