VEIL is a contemporary art collective exploring new ways of experiencing art. Bringing together artists and creative practitioners across disciplines, VEIL creates temporary environments in which art is not only presented, but encountered through the senses, through one another and through the space surrounding it.

VEIL moves away from the idea of art as something we simply stand in front of and observe. Instead, each edition considers how an artwork can be entered, heard, tasted, felt or experienced collectively — allowing the audience, environment and work to continuously affect one another.
At the centre of VEIL is shared experience. Art can create situations in which people who might otherwise never meet find themselves experiencing the same moment. VEIL is interested in what can emerge from that proximity — conversation, discomfort, curiosity, recognition or entirely different ways of seeing.
VEIL brings different creative practices into dialogue rather than treating them as separate worlds. Artists, performers, musicians, designers, chefs and other practitioners are invited to respond to one another, allowing one work or discipline to alter how another is experienced.
